About me

I strive to incorporate my broad career experiences into the recruiting process.

As a West Point graduate, U.S. Army veteran and former federal judicial clerk, my ability to quickly adapt to fluid environments help me effectively deal with the pressures and emotions of a prospective career change and to help make the process as smooth and unobtrusive as possible.
My interests and current involvement in advertising, print and online media allow me to build upon my real-world exposure to various policies and practices regarding print, broadcast and internet marketing techniques to provide a unique foundation from which to help candidates secure, and transition into rewarding opportunities in the legal profession.

Looking for career or hiring advice?

I am available to provide information, prospective contacts and introductions to both Candidates and Clients for those attorneys interested in considering or pursuing alternative career paths to that of the ‘traditional’ legal career.

My personal professional experiences navigating the traditional legal career path, in addition to alternative career paths, has allowed me to establish and maintain relationships in a variety of industries where critical thinking skills, creativity and legal knowledge can provide opportunities for improved work-life balance and career advancement when compared to the ‘traditional’ legal career path advancement.

I offer comprehensive, ‘soup-to-nuts’ attorney placement services for my attorney and non-attorney (i.e., primarily government relations professionals) candidates as well as involvement in all aspects of the transition process.

I work with both law firm and corporate legal departments, either directly or with trusted NALSC member recruiting firms in the Washington, DC metro, national and international markets.

I offer my client law firms and corporate legal departments candidates addressing the specific needs of the firm or legal department, whether the given request is driven by a specific practice need, class designation, skill set or industry/market access.
